Writer’s Corner is a monthly television interview series featuring authors, writers, reviewers, publishers, and other literary voices from Minnesota and beyond. Created by Alan Miller, the program gives guests room to talk about their books, their creative paths, their research, their publishing experiences, and the stories behind the stories.
The show has built a remarkable archive of thoughtful half-hour conversations with authors across mystery, crime fiction, suspense, literary fiction, nonfiction, journalism, publishing, and public life. Past guests have included William Kent Krueger, David Housewright, Matt Goldman, Brian Freeman, Tracy Clark, Shawn Otto, Christine Husom, Allen Eskens, Rob Jung, Jeffrey B. Burton, and many more.
Bell Cow Productions helps share and preserve Writer’s Corner online as part of our larger mission: connecting writers, readers, bookstores, libraries, and literary communities. If Author Round-Up is where we spotlight individual authors, StoryLab is where we gather writers around craft, Fresh Off the Stack is where we celebrate new releases, and Mystery Conversations is where we preserve live literary events, Writer’s Corner is where we help extend the life of a beloved television interview series and keep its conversations accessible to new audiences.
Writer’s Corner’s home station is Eagan-TV, and episodes are also available online through the Bell Cow Productions YouTube archive. Whether you are looking for a favorite author, discovering someone new, or simply want to hear writers talk about how books come into being, this is a rich back catalogue worth exploring.
