We created Bell Cow Book Club because books deserve more than a thumbs-up, a star rating, or a quick one-line review. Sometimes a book needs to be puzzled over, laughed about, argued with, admired, questioned, or re-read in light of something another reader noticed. That is the spirit of this show. We want it to feel like pulling up a chair with smart, curious people who actually read the book and came ready to talk.

Our selections will come from authors in the Bell Cow Cattle-Log, authors who have appeared on our podcasts, and authors featured at Minnesota Mystery Night, which means the next book in the stack might very well be yours. We will not be able to cover everyone, but we will do our best to spread the love, the attention, and the conversation around.
